"The answer to America's driving needs in the late 1980s and beyond may be found in the Mercury Antser, a 1,200-pound electric concept car approximately the size of a Mercury Bobcat. The four-passenger Antser (two regular seats and two jump seats)will be on display in the Lincoln-Mercury exhibit at the Detroit Auto Show, January 12-20 at Detroit's Cobo Hall. The revolutionary Antser features a bold, aerodynamic design, lightweight construction and a proposed unique hybrid electric power system as its major forms of fuel-efficient technology. The car is 155 inches long, 65 inches wide, 48 1/2 inches high, and has a wheelbase of 86 inches."--Accompanying sheet.
